How to Make a Bow (the easy cheat that works every time!)

Learning how to make a bow can be frustrating, right? It’s honestly too much work do pull out a fancy machine (that you’ll only use one month out of the year) and try to remember how it works. Honestly, I hate those. I really, really do! So that’s why I’ve learned a few bow making secrets – and I’m totally going to share them with you!

It all starts with the right ribbon. You want some that’s not too thick, but not too thin. And wire. Wire is where it’s at when it comes to making the bow look exactly how you want.

Next is what size ribbon to use? Well…. there’s no right or wrong answer here. If you want a little bow, use little ribbon! I tend to use ribbon that’s somewhere between 1 1/2 inch up to 3 inches. It literally depends on what I’m looking to put it on. But pay attention to the length of the loop versus the width of the ribbon and it will help a lot!

And of course, I have a few secrets you might use, too 😉 Seriously, I have a few quick hacks that will make bow making a breeze – and you can find them here in my YouTube video

Now go make alllll the bows! You’ll wanna put bows on everything – and since you can make them in minutes, I say, the more bows, the merrier!

xoxo
